Here's what we fans (non insiders) know.

- Sal - Has an ankle injury. Wrestled in Vegas with it taped up. He clearly looked like it was giving him problems. He was not able to be aggressive on his feet, which is pretty much his biggest asset.

- Nick - Hasn't wrestled since PSU. Appears most people are assuming its the same elbow injury as last year, but I haven't seen any confirmation on that.

-Epperly - Dresser mentioned a non serious bruise (hip maybe?) in a podcast. Didn't wrestle the rest of 2015 after PSU. However, I believe most people expected to see him this weekend since he wrested against George Mason. His absence this weekend appears to be the biggest mystery on this message board.

Now we may have to add Haught to that list. He suffered what looked to be a hamstring injury yesterday. He appeared to tweak it in the last 5 seconds of the Citadel match. He was then able to wrestle about 50% of his 2nd match before it was noticeably bothering him again (he took injury time out for it). He finished and won that match, but stalled and was not able to put together any offense after that point. Wonder if they consider resting him and giving Austin a shot @ 197 today.

Hillcrest said earlier on here that Nick would be out till UNC. So I think most people were expecting everyone but Nick this weekend. Hillcrest then tweeted yesterday (along the lines of) "Hope" to see Sal, Nick, and Epp back by "ONE" of next weekend's duals. Assume that means UNC, but not UNI.

Dresser said he was being conservative in this years scheduling in hopes of keeping everyone healthy for NCAA's. Hopefully he's also being ultra conservative on the injury front also. Sal may be running out of opportunities to qualify at this point.
